FAQ

  • What will I see on this tour?

HISTORY TOUR - You will learn about Anchorage’s history and see the spots where it all happened. The focus will be on important or eccentric figures from over a century - complete with such figures as the poodle dogsled musher, the parking fairy and Binky the polar bear.

ART TOUR - First off, you will get to see murals and sculptures - and learn interesting facts about them! Through learning about them, you will get a greater understanding of Anchorage’s culture and artistic legacy.

In addition to the art or history content, you will get an ebike tour along Anchorage’s coastline and waterways. Who knows, you might see a resident moose or bear!

  • I've never ridden an e-bike before - is it difficult? What fitness level is required?

If you are comfortable riding a regular bike, you will be able to confidently ride an e-bike. The electric motor makes pedaling very easy, but you will still need to be able to control and manouver the bike. Your guide will give a lesson on operating the e-bikes at the beginning of the tour.

Though the majority of the tour is on paved trails, there is a short section that is on bike-friendly designated streets.
